Goma – HEAL Africa will reinforce its activity in the health zones affected by the armed conflicts in North Kivu in eastern Congo.  Thanks to a generous donation from the French government, HEAL Africa will be able to extend its services to children in difficult situations in the territories of Rutshuru, Kayna, Binza and Masisis.   In the program, “Children like Us” HEAL Africa will continue its work to heal children with congenital malformation, children living with HIV, and will strengthen its work in preventing transmission of HIV from mother to child.  It will also care for children with severe malnutrition and assure the psychological care of children and adolescents living with physical disabilities.  This will permit 900 young beneficiaries to receive the care they need.

This contract between France and HEAL Africa, was signed on the 15^th of October, 2012 by Madame Yamina Benguigui, French Minister for  the Francophone world, and Mr. Justin Paluku Lussy, Associate Legal Representative of HEAL Africa.  Mme. Benguigui congratulated HEAL Africa for its work, saying “You rebuild the lives of the most vulnerable”.

Goma – HEAL Africa va renforcer ses activités dans les zones de santé affectées par les conflits armés du Nord-Kivu à l’est du Congo. Grâce à une donation généreuse du gouvernement français  HEAL Africa pourra étendre son action auprès des enfants en situation difficile dans les territoires Ruthsuru, Kayna, Binza et Masisi. Dans le cadre du projet « enfants comme nous » HEAL Africa  va traiter des enfants atteints de malformations congénitales, des enfants vivants avec le VIH et on va renforcer l’action de prévention de la transmission du VIH de la mère à l’enfant. Il est aussi prévu de s’occuper des enfants atteints de malnutrition aigu sévère et d’assurer l’accompagnement psychologique des enfants et adolescents vivants avec handicap. Le chiffre total des bénéficiaires de ces activités sera 900 enfants.

Le contrat entre la France et HEAL Africa, une organisation non-gouvernemental chrétienne basé à Goma, était signé aujourd’hui, le 15.10.2012 par Madame Yamina Benguigui, Ministre françaises chargée de la francophonie, et Monsieur Justin Paluku Lussy, Représentant Légal Suppléant de HEAL Africa. Madame Benguigui a félicité HEAL Africa pour son travail : « Vous reconstruisez la vie des plus vulnérables ».
