HEAL Africa is committed to protecting your privacy. The following will provide you with a thorough understanding of our privacy policy.

  • When you visit our website we collect some non-identifying basic information. This includes number of visitors to our site, total pages viewed, and other non-identifying information. We use this nonidentifying information to improve our communications with you.

  • When you make a donation to HEAL Africa by check, ACH, or mail communication we record the available information such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, program interests to provide a receipt for your gift and keep you informed about our program. This information becomes part of our secure third- party donor data base.

  • When you make a donation on-line through third party entities they obtain certain information. Some of that information is transferred to HEAL Africa and to our secure third-party donor data base (This may include for example, your name, address, daytime phone, e-mail address).We use your information to process your donation(s), to provide a receipt(s), and to keep you informed about our program.

  • HEAL Africa will discontinue contacting any person upon that person’s oral or written request received by HEAL Africa.

  • We do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child without the consent of the child’s parent(s). Children under the age of 13 should obtain parental consent before ordering from or donating through our site.

This means that sensitive information, such as your credit card number, becomes unreadable to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information. SSL is supported by all major Web browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Netscape Navigator. When you are in a secure area, the address bar at the top of your window will indicate “https” as opposed to “http.” PayPal collects your name, address, phone, credit card number and expiration date in order to process your transaction. Their encryption technology offers the highest level of security. They have state-of-the-art firewalls and other security technology in place to insure the confidentiality of your transactions.
