HEAL Africa Featured on the PBS Newshour

On March 7, the eve of the International Day of Women, HEAL Africa was featured on the PBS Newshour. The award winning program is known for their 35 years of solid, reliable reporting that has made the PBS NewsHour one of the most trusted news programs in television. The HEAL Africa piece was an overview of the work of HEAL Africa and the organization’s response to the devastating violence caused in the ongoing conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It also highlights the story of one patient, Anonciata, as she struggles to recover from a brutal attack by local militia. Click here to watch the piece.
